We are a firm of Chartered Accountant professionals conveniently located in the large regional centre of Tamworth. Our firm is dedicated to delivering expert accounting, taxation and business advice to a large number of diverse businesses.
We have a highly motivated team committed to the growth and development of our business, and we now have an excellent opportunity for an Accountant and Trainee Accountant to join the firm.
When you commence in this role, your responsibilities will include:
- preparation of financial statements using MYOB Accountants Enterprise and Class Super software;
- preparation of taxation returns, BAS, and IAS for all types of business entities;
- general accounting duties and preparing client advice.
- Client software support for general ledger programs such as MYOB, Xero, Reckon, Banklink, Phoenix, Cashbook Plus etc.
We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant with a minimum of 2 years experience in a business services role in a public practice as well as a Trainee Accountant ready to commence their career in the accounting profession. Ideally the Accountant applicants will have completed a relevant diploma or degree course and will be looking to undertake the Chartered Accountants Program in the future. However we are also open to considering talented individuals who are part way through their studies. Trainee Accountant applicants will be willing to commence their external studies towards their degree.

Effective organisation and planning of your workload, and a proven ability to meet deadlines with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, is therefore crucial for this role.
Solid computer skills including MS Office are essential to apply.
